Got a couple of hours to kill and would like something to do? We’ve always got a few odd jobs that need to be done such as:
Our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) hosts many events throughout the school year and raises money for classrooms, extracurricular activities and transportation costs. In order to do all this, PAC needs your ideas, talents, and hands! For more information about PAC, including the fundraising and hospitality committees, please contact Jane Montgomery by clicking the link below.
Each year we need a few volunteers to assist our photographer in getting student photos done. Duties include collecting students from classrooms, making sure their uniform and hair is in order, and returning them to their classroom. This year’s photo dates are Sep 7, Oct 16, and May 6. To volunteer, please contact Tami Dyble by clicking the link below.
For student safety, we need Recess Supervisors to walk around the school grounds during morning and lunch recesses. The presence of supervisors ensures that game rules are being followed, children are playing safely on playground equipment, and unacceptable behaviours are managed. If you are able to help in this area, please contact the school office by clicking the link below.
Our swimming program for Grade 3 & 4 students (Jan 9-Feb 27) and Grade 1 and 2 students (Apr 3-May 22) needs a male volunteer to supervise in the boys changing room, assist children who need help dressing, and collect any items that are left behind and give to the supervising teachers. If you are able to volunteer for this position or need more information, please contact Tami Dyble at 250-339-1200 or by clicking the link below.
