1. STUDENT ACTIVITY FEES

(Applies to all students)

This fee will fund student activities and small field trips throughout the school year. In the past, Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy has asked parents throughout the year to pay additional money toward swimming, skating, and entrance fees to venues. The majority of schools, both public and private, charge a one-time fee to cover the costs of student activities rather than have parents dip into their wallets throughout the school year. Our Student Activity Fees are as follows: Kindergarten and High School (Gr. 8-12) pay $60.00; Grades 1-7 pay $125.00.

2. SCHOOL SUPPLIES

(For Kindergarten to Grade 7 only; Grades 8-12 purchase own supplies) Parents with children in elementary grades are able to take advantage of group-buying power and experience "hassle-free" back-to-school shopping. Based on the feedback from all elementary teachers and parents of elementary children, Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy will continue with bulk-buying school supplies for our elementary school only at a cost of $45.00 per student for Grades K-3 and $60.00 per student for Grades 4-7.

3. P.E. UNIFORM

(Required for Grades 4-12)

Physical Education uniforms must be purchased through the school office:

  • Shorts and t-shirt are $15.00 each ($30.00 purchased together)
  • Athletic pants are available for $25.00
  • Sizes available are: Youth-Medium, Youth-Large, Adult-Small, Adult-Medium, Adult-Large, and Adult-Extra Large
  • White socks and non-marking running shoes may be purchased at parents’ store of choice.

4. LOCKER FEE

(Required for Grades 6-12)

Students from grades 6 to 12 are required to rent a locker for the year to house their school supplies and personal items. The $5.00 rental fee includes the locker and the lock for the entire school year. At year’s end, the lock is to be returned to the office.

5. EARTHQUAKE KIT

(Required for all grades)

As part of the BC Ministry Safety & Protection protocol, every school is required to have families provide a personal earthquake kit for every individual child attending school. To reduce the amount of time volunteers spend in organizing kits and checking for expiry dates on food, the school will provide food and water on behalf of families. These kits are $5.00 per student.

6. OPTIONAL FEES

Athletics Program
If you know your child(ren) will be involved in the athletics program, include the appropriate fees on the tuition worksheet.

Yearbook
Every year our school produces an exceptional yearbook which captures the year's fun in a variety of ways. Not only is the yearbook a great keepsake but is also guaranteed to have your student's picture included at least three times. Each yearbook is $35.00 to purchase.
