Literacy Week is the Week of February 19-22 and there will be several activities, events, and guests throughout the week. Here are some other things that are happening:
We will be collecting books on Tuesday and Wednesday in a box in the Library/Chapel for donations of books from home that are no longer read. Then on Thursday and Friday, students will be able to go in and exchange (ie. take home the number of books that they donated). Extra books will be available for others to take home.
Literary Character Dress-Up Day is Friday. Come dressed up as a character from a book. We will be awarding prizes and have a professional storyteller coming to the school on Friday afternoon.
It's going to be a fun week!
